Associate Professor

email: gf.zhang@siat.ac.cn

Dr. Guofang Zhang, associate professor in the Laboratory of Immunology and Nanomedicine of Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). She received a PhD degree majored in cell biology, which mainly focused on the protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid interactions to explore the mechanisms of cell signal transduction.

Her postdoctoral training was on nano-immune interactions at SIAT-CAS. Her currently study mainly focuses in two directions: 1) molecular mechanisms of nanoparticles on cyto-/immune-toxicity; 2) the functions and molecular mechanisms of antiviral nanomaterials. She is trying to combine the molecular biological techniques with the nanotechnology for a smart nanomaterial development and a deep understanding of their potential biological/immunological functions.

Dr. Zhang has published more than 10 papers, including 7 first authored publications at Nature Nanotechnology, Environmental Science: Nano, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, WIREs Nanomedicine & Nanobiotechnology, etc.
